Car Rental in Jersey
You will need a Certificate of Insurance or an International Green Card, a valid driving licence or International Driving Permit. You can rent a car for around £20-30 a day. These are just guidelines, so do check with the car hire company to clarify the cost and documentation needed.
Speed limits are in miles per hour, and are as follows:
- Maximum Speed Limit: 40mph/65kph
- Built Up Areas: 20-30mph/30-50kph
- Green Lanes: 15mph/25kph
They drive on the left-hand side of the road.
Beware: many of the roads are quite narrow and twist and turn between the fields and farms.
