Pets must be identifiable by a tattoo or microchip and be accompanied by an EU Pet Passport. To find out the regulations for taking pets check with airlines.
The EU Pet Passport contains information about the pet such as its owner, identification number and proof of vaccination against rabies. It is issued by the vet and valid for the life of the pet.
