Ella Cheong is an IP lawyer, having founded the IP focused firm of ELLA CHEONG (HONG KONG / BEIJING), with offices in HK and Beijing. She is a solicitor in Hong Kong and is on the Roll of Honour of the Law Society of Hong Kong. She is also qualified in the United Kingdom, Australia, and Singapore. She was for many years precedent partner at one of Hong Kong's oldest law firms, having established its IP department. She also established at the invitation of the Singapore Government an IP firm in Singapore with a branch office in Malaysia. She regularly gives talks on all aspects of IP in Asia. She has also authored many articles on IP issues.
