Banking in Guernsey

Opening an account in Guernsey is a very easy process. There are branches of familiar banks located across the island. As in the rest of the UK, you can choose a different account for different purposes. Cash machines are available throughout the island.

To open a bank account in Jersey, you will be required to provide the following documentation:

  • Form of ID (passport, etc)
  • Proof of address (bill, etc)

As with the rest of the UK, internet banking is available with all the major banks.
