Taxation in Kuwait

Individuals are not subject to taxes on income. However, corporate tax is levied on foreign companies engaged in commercial activity in Kuwait.
Corporate income tax is levied on the net income of foreign firms. Kuwait's government recently approved a bill to reduce the tax on foreign firms to a flat 15% from the current levels (of up to 55%) to attract more foreign investors.
There is no VAT.
