Kuwait Emigration

Documents required to enter Kuwait are:

  • Passport
  • Six passport sized photographs
  • Marriage certificate (if applicable)
  • Birth certificate for all family members (if applicable)
  • Medical certificate
  • Certificate to show that you are in good health and free from HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases

You will require a visa to enter Kuwait, which must be organised prior to arrival in the country. To work and live in Kuwait, you will need a residence visa. In order to obtain a visa you have to find a sponsor; invariably an employer.

You must acquire a NOC (No Objection Certificate) which is provided by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour following application by your sponsor. You need to submit the NOC to the Ministry of the Interior who will then provide you with a residence visa. Once you have obtained the residence visa, you will be issued with a civil ID card.
