There is an excellent postal service across the country. Airmail to Europe takes up to one week.
Post office hours vary but are generally Sunday to Tuesday and Thursday, 0800-1200, and ten again 1530-1830. Wednesday 0800-1330 and Friday 0800-1200. All post offices are closed on Saturday and other holy days.

Mobile
Israelis are big users of mobile telephones, with up to three quarters of Israelis owning their own. There are currently three mobile telephone networks in operation. Coverage is generally good.
