Georgiades & Mylonas Advocates & Legal Consultants

The firm was established in 1992 by Mr. Yiannos Georgiades and is now a thriving concern. As of January 1st  2006 the law firm of Yiannos G. Georgiades & Co. merged with the law firm of Anastasios Z. Mylonas, the result being the formation of Georgiades & Mylonas, Advocates & Legal Consultants. We are currently in the progress of establishing a solicitors firm in London in the United Kingdom, the aim of this new venture is to serve to widen our client base even further and strengthen the international network of clients, contacts and associates we already hold.

The firm is essentially international in outlook with approximately half of its clientele being of international origin, they also have a firm foothold in the domestic market, providing an extensive range of legal consultancy services both to our Cypriot clients acting as a legal adviser to several local councils and charitable organizations, as well as to a multinational clientele.

Over the last 17 years  the firm has grown and developed and now offers the diverse professional skills of qualified lawyers, legal consultants and legal assistants, these skills and attributes combine together to provide flexible and viable solutions to the needs and requirements of their  clients both within Cyprus and worldwide. The associates together speak a number of different languages, all speaking English with most also speaking Greek and others speaking a variety of other languages, inter alia Russian and Polish. The firm therefore has the capabilities to work with clients from abroad comfortably and confidently ensuring that the clients language requirements can be met.

The  head office remains in Nicosia Cyprus with coordinated teams in the branch office in Larnaca and the up and coming international office in the UK and throughout their many associates both in the legal field and other related sectors worldwide.

The firm is a member of, inter alia, the Cyprus Bar Association, AEA Asociacion Europea de Abogados, ITECH Law and SCL Society for Computers and Law.

The firm has a wealth of experience across the major practice areas, selected by the partners to specialize in and recruit associates who wish to practice in these areas because of their critical importance to the clients and the growing demand for legal services in some of the new up and coming areas of law. The firm advises clients in all areas of corporate and commercial law and litigation as well as providing specialist services in matters such as mergers and acquisitions. The members have market sector expertise and advise in inter alia the following areas: all corporate and commercial matters, banking and finance, EU Law, insolvency, investment, intellectual property, IT Law, real estate, taxation and trusts and maritime law.
