Banking hours are generally Monday to Friday from 0900 to 1700 and Saturdays from 0900 to 1400. Cash machines are available throughout the country. There are a large number of commercial banks, including familiar international banks, in Poland. Interest rates will differ according to individual policy.
To open an account in Poland, you will be required to provide the following documentation:

  • Passport
  • Residency permit or work visa

However, requirements may vary from bank to bank. There is a wide variety of accounts and services available. Internet banking is in operation too.
