Skrine was founded on 1 May 1963 and is one of the largest full-service legal firms with an integrated range of specialist business groups providing a comprehensive range of legal services to a large cross-section of the business community in Malaysia as well as abroad.

Skrine was established as ‘Skrine & Co’ on 1st May 1963 by John Skrine, Stanley Peddie, Peter Mooney, William Donald Bewsher and Chin Yoong Chong. Embracing the advent of the computer age and modernisation of the nation, the Firm expanded rapidly in the 1970s and 1980s. Today, the firm has 38 partners, 5 consultants, 47 associates. Skrine has three principal divisions:
