Isle of Man Emigration

If you are a British citizen, you do not require any clearance from the immigration office to live on the Isle of Man. If you take up residence in the Isle of Man, you must notify the local tax authorities by completing a Commencement of Residence form.

The Manx government policy on employment requires non-Manx citizens to have a work permit. Work permit application forms can be obtained from the Isle of Man Department of Trade and Industry:

The Secretary to the Work Permit Committee
Department of Trade and Industry
Employment Services
Nivison House, Prospect Hill
