Plan of tax system optimization

On February 10th the Russian government approved the plan of measures on the improvement of tax administration regarding the procedures of submission and preparation of tax reporting, and also the improvement of the document flow principles. The plan provides for the introduction of the explanations obligatory to the application by tax authorities made by them to taxpayers on the taxation of the specific planned transaction; transition to submission of tax declarations in electronic format even for small enterprises; a 10-day increase in the tax declaration period of submission; synchronization of requirements to tax and accounting reports; simplification of documents exchange system due to the electronic document flow introduction and the increase in the number of tax authorities’ online services.
