Here at Surrey Translation Bureau, we take immense pride in delivering top-quality written translations to our clients so it should come as no great surprise that quality management plays an integral role in our day-to-day operations

For most, January marks the start of a brand new year but, for us here at STB, it also means it is time for our annual ISO inspection and 2017 was no exception! Surrey Translation Bureau is currently certificated to two different standards, ISO BS EN 9001:2008 (Quality management systems in any industry) and ISO BS EN 17100:2015 (European quality standard for translation services); we work hard throughout the year to maintain certification to these two standards and regularly monitor of our existing internal processes and systems to make sure they are up to scratch.

Needless to say, all of our hard work paid off (phew!) and the inspection proved to be something of a triumph for STB; in other words, we successfully maintained our certifications for both of the above mentioned standards for another year.

However, like any smart business, we want to stay ahead of the competition so we always endeavour to keep abreast of the latest shifts in the ever-evolving world of quality management.

The next step? Well, we are now working towards upgrading our certification to the new ISO 9001:2015 standard. Preparing for this new standard will involve STB adopting a more risk-orientated approach across all of its quality management procedures – an approach that will continue to inspire and drive customer confidence.

So, if you require a written translation of top-notch quality from a company you can trust, simply drop us an email to hello@surreytranslation.co.uk or call 01252733999
