Paul Beare Wins IR Global Member Of The Year

Back to News

Paul Beare has been named Member of the Year at this year’s IR Global Conference in Amsterdam.

“It’s a huge honour”, says Paul, who heads up Paul Beare Ltd, a fast-growing accounting practice based in the UK but with global reach to Europe, the US, Australia and beyod.

The award recognises Paul’s ten years of membership as well as his outstanding contribution to the IR Global Network. In the decade of his IR Global membership, Paul has attended multiple conferences, sat on panels, advised on agendas and – most important – been a source of help and encouragement to his fellow members across the world.

“IR Global has been instrumental in our success, but like most things, you get out it what you put in,” he says from Amsterdam where the current IR Global Annual Conference is taking place. “And it’s certainly true that when you join the network, you are just acquaintances, and you don’t know people well; but you get to know one another.

“This in turn becomes colleagues, and colleagues become friends. At this point, you typically begin the cross-referral process.

Over time, of course, that friendship becomes like a family. I am honoured and humbled to be part of this wonderful IR-Global family.

Members were balloted over a period of months, and Paul’s ten years of active engagement was rewarded when his peers – over 1300+ at the last count – chose him as 2023’s leading member.

With the accounting practice growing all the time, adding team members in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, Paul Beare Ltd is rapidly becoming the go-to practice for businesses interested in setting up the UK.

“While I’m delighted to be named Member of the Year myself, the award is also a huge recognition of my colleagues at Paul Beare Ltd,” says Paul, who also went on to thank his fellow finalists, Caroline Joly (Baro Alto Cabinet d’Avocats) and Michael Kean(Loren & Kean Law).
