Greece, as a full EU Member State, aims to attract foreign direct investments and that’s why it has set up a flexible and fast procedure for non-EU/EEA foreign investors who wish to obtain an entry visa and a residence permit for the purpose of investment activity in the country.
Everything can be done by your home and appointing a proxy with your signature is the only time you are required to be in Greece.
The Golden Visa program is simple and appealing. The only requirements are:
- Investment of at least € 250,000 for buying a property in Greece
- Medical and Hospital insurance
- Four printed digital passport photos
That’s it! You and your family (spouse, unmarried children up to the age of 21, first degree ascendants of the spouses) can have a residence permit that will come at your home worldwide.
The residence permit is valid for five years and it is renewable indefinitely as soon as you keep having the ownership of a property worth at least € 250,000.
