Use this service to apply for certificates and inspections if you export plants from England and Wales.

Use this service to apply for:

  • a phytosanitary certificate to export plants and fresh produce, processed plant products, grain, or used farm machinery
  • a re-forwarding certificate to re-export plants and fresh produce, processed plant products, grain, or used farm machinery
  • a certificate of conformity

You can also:

  • copy existing applications for certificates
  • see the status of your application

If you are applying to export fruit, vegetables or cut flowers, you may have the option to apply under the plant health exports audited trader scheme (PHEATS).

You’ll need a Government Gateway account - if you do not already have one, you can set one up.
