Pet Transportation

Hi I have read that the quarantine period to transfer an animal is 30 days, but does anyone know the rough costs? Has anyone got first hand experience with this?

Re: Pet Transportation

Costs are calculated after the animal has arrived in Australia - it is assessed thereafter. You are looking at roughly $250 though.

Re: Pet Transportation

After you have a visa strategy in place OE VIsas will put you in tocuh with a vet who runs a pet transportation service. This ensures the animal (OK - family member with four legs) is looked after.

Costs vary depending upon the size of the cat or dog. £1800 roughly for a cat and up to £3K for a big dog. This is all in from your place to your new home in Oz.
