Helping businesses prepare for supplementary declarations Traders who chose to use the staged approach for imports under the UK’s Border Operating Model will need to start making declarations as soon as July 2021. Traders who chose to defer declarations for non-controlled goods that they brought into Great Britain from the EU in January 2021 will need to complete supplementary declarations for those goods in July 2021.
