Our Background.

Hardwick Co, trading as “Exxapatent ®” has been in the international IP arena in one form or another since 1978, dealing with all aspects of IP, including preparing, filing and prosecuting patent applications, trademarks and design applications., assignments and ownership transfers in just about every country in the world. We deal with virtually all types of technology. We particularly specialize in, but are not limited to physics, electronics, Internet, IT, High Tech, communications; satellites, oil industry and Business method patent applications. John Hardwick, of Hardwick & Co, having studied Physics, Chemistry, Telecommunications and Digital Techniques, was, initially a professional analogue, digital and nano-scale metrology engineer in the digital storage industry before progressing to Senior Patent Counsel for Europe for Unisys Corporation, serving a total of 23 years in the computer industry.

As well as the country you have accessed, we have experience in many other countries especially the British Commonwealth and North America. We have handled trademarks in every country except Pakistan and Mexico.

What we Have Been Doing

In recent years we have written, filed and prosecuted many hundreds of Patent Applications in different countries as well as design and trademark applications. We have also processed many UK and European Patent Applications, mostly in the Hi Tech and Mathematical Software invention areas but ranging to simple mechanical items.. We also offer advice on business agreements involving IP and portfolio management and have assisted several companies to avoid pitfalls.
