Where are you planning to start up?
Hi, Just wondering where fellow Overseas members are thinking of setting up? Any recommendations? I have been looking into places in Europe, but can't really decide. I own a couple of cafes in the UK - which I plan to maintain - but the thought of opening a new venture elsewhere seems so exciting! Sha

I run a art business within the UK and have received a lot of interest from australia. Due to the demand, and of course the lifestyle i am seriously thinking of migrating my business over there. Can anyone please advise what form my business should take?

Banking
Banking in Australia is straightforward. The central bank is the Reserve Bank. There are many major commercial banks in Australia.
Setting up a bank account in Australia is not difficult, but setting one up before you go could be a good idea - many UK banks offer links with Australian banks and can help you to set up an account before you leave, or you could contact the bank directly. Internet and telephone banking services are widely available in Australia.

- 1 year term deposits - 7.60%
- small business 3 year fixed loan - 9.90%
