Although best known for its famous mobile phone brand Nokia, Finland is a major world import-exporter offering many other opportunities for international traders

According to UK Trade & Investment, the UK is Finland’s eighth largest import supplier and fifth largest export market, with around £2.5bn of goods and services flowing each way every year.

The main products traded between the UK and Finland are vehicles, transport equipment, machinery, iron, steel and non-ferrous metals, telecommunications and sound recording systems, medical and pharmaceutical products, paper, wood, pulp and waste paper, and petroleum products.
