Nepal visas

Back to News

The following nationals must apply, via the Nepalese Embassy, for approval from the authorities in Kathmandu first, before submitting their application for their visa process:

Afghanistan, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Liberia, Nigeria, Palestine, Somalia, Swaziland and Zimbabwe

To do so, they will need to go to the Nepalese embassy and provide them with the following:

1. Passport which must be valid for at least 6 months after the planned departure from Nepal. (Plus a copy of the passport's main page.)

2. Application form fully completed.

3. One passport size photo taken against a white background within the last 6 months.

The Nepalese embassy will then send copies of their details to the authorities in Kathmandu on their behalf. Please note that it will take 3 months to receive confirmation from Kathmandu, whether your visa will be granted.

We can lodge this request with the Nepalese Embassy on your behalf, however, we are unable to expedite the process.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information. You can find a link to the application form on our website. Click here for more information
