Hi my family lives in Guernsey and I commute to U.K on weekly business.
I have my own IT company in U.K , currently I do all my tax and vat in U.K .
Since I am living in Guernsey and working in U.K I want to operate from Guernsey hence my question below
I want to know if it is possible for me to open a company in Guernsey and travel on weekly basis to do my business in the U.K ?
Is this legally correct? or do I have to perform my trade in both Guernsey and U.K for it to be legally correct?

I recently moved my business base from the UK to Guernsey. Yes you can open a company in Guernsey and do business in the UK. It can be done legal and correct without having to perform trade in Guernsey if you don't want to.

I am in the process of setting up a business in Guernsey. We will be shipping our products to the UK and Europe. I have had to pay import duties to have our goods arrive on the island. Will I also be subjected to export duties when I ship to our customers? Any help would be appreciated. stephanie@atselectrolube.eu
